The Real News PR Speakers Bureau assists speaking clients with presentation formation and speech development, conference research and venue bookings, fee negotiation and overview of contracts as well as special event planning.
Market Research Intern
The Market Research Intern will report directly to the Real News PR Speakers Bureau Director. Intern will carry out client specific research and administrative functions to support the Real News PR Speakers Bureau.
Build lead lists by researching existing lead lists, visiting prospect, vendor and association websites to find new leads.
Gather information and create custom lists to correspond with client requests and preferences regarding location, demographic and venue size.
Ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date.
Administering inquiry phone calls to businesses to validate current prospect lists.
Keep current on web browsing techniques that will make duties more efficient.
Understand Client speaking objectives and gain personal knowledge about each client.
Assist with client scheduling and correspondence.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related Major.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills and have a great attitude.
- Should be technically savvy and familiar with internet search tools and social media platforms.
- Candidate needs to be extremely detailed oriented and well organized.
- Personable and comfortable on the phone with proper phone etiquette.
- Must have your own laptop and be proficient with Excel or Google Sheets.
This is an ongoing internship with a minimum 8-15hr per week requirement. Looking to fill the slot ASAP.
