Leadership is a challenging thing. It’s not easy to tell folks what’s to do, and usually it’s even harder to know what they’re supposed to be doing in the first place. And in the age of social media, a lot of folks have opinions, but it takes a special kind of person to follow through with them. Just ask Lynn McBee. She’s a seventh-generation Texan that started her career as a biochemist before becoming the CEO of Young Women’s Prep. She’s also a high-profile philanthropist, and a civic leader in one of Texas’ biggest cities (our very own Dallas, of course). She’s had her finger on the pulse of the metroplex for over 25 years. She’s an eternal optimist, and what some see as problems, Lynn sees as opportunities. And today on the Mike McGavel Jones Show, she’s sitting down with Mike to get to the bottom of what exactly all that means, and how she’s planning to change things when she runs for Dallas Mayor next term.
